Tulsa HBCU is offering a scholarship program aimed at supporting outstanding 12th grade students
Eligibility: The scholarship is open to all 12th grade students who meet the following criteria: All applicants must have a 2.5 GPA or higher to be eligible to apply.
All applicants must be residents of North Tulsa or attend a high school located in North Tulsa.
All applicants must have a desire to attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
All applicants must be seniors graduating this academic year.
Application Process: Students interested in applying for the scholarship are required to create a compelling 2-minute video essay that reflects their passion for education, commitment to their community, and the transformative impact they believe an HBCU education can have on their future. Additionally, we encourage students to post their video on TikTok and Instagram and tag @tulsahbcu & @historicgreenwooddistrict and use #PagesOfOpportunity #TulsaHBCU.
Deadline: The deadline for submitting scholarship applications is Monday, Feb. 26th at 11:59 p.m.
Award Amount: The scholarship award amount is two $500 payments to two seniors that reside/ attend school in North Tulsa.
